Alot of events not updated...firstly wld be yanti's engagement..haha..she looked realli pretty tat day and i wan tat psp tats on her bed..a gift for he fiance..its was quite ok..catching up wit the wrs mly peeps which i have not seen or met for so longg..felt quite awkward..lucky gt my closer frenz like shar n idhzuan..haha

After tat went to Ling2 bdae at her hse..met up wit jc classmates..almost all there..good to see them too..haha..altho i tot the bdae was quite boring..hehe..bt at least gt to see long lost classmates..haha

There was safra beach sports vball competition..we lost a game to a grp whom we were leading..sian..and they had this really irritating coach shouting at them..but i guess we made alot of mistakes in tat match..and to tink we almost resultd in a walkover..haha..

celbrated yl's bdae too...our grp's first 21st bdae..nice food and cake..haha..y do everyone have a party for their 21st?

new yr eve started off reali well...but unfortunately it ended off pretty badly..

Woke up early to go to werk as usual..but work these 2 days was veri fulfilling..as in to the stomach..haha..as it was Eby's last day, everyone was giving us food after food after food..we had chocolate cake..banana fritters..hor fun..popiah..watermelons..some mly kuehs..mango, coffee and blackforest cake..eclairs..chocolates..cheng teng..seriously..we were so full and happy..haha..

after tat we went for late lunch to celebrate nw yr eve and eby's last dae at Astons located at The Cathay..queue was long but food was delicious..haha..luckily selena and clara queued up for us earlier..had a great lunch wit them..

went home and had to eat ny yr dinner wit family before i go out..i felt like throwing up frm overeating..haha..but of coz i did not..met up wit thomas first at cwp and acc him eat..b4 we met up wit willis to go cityhall to meet yi xiang..

decided to meet up wit shah and frog at marina instead coz wanted to watch the fireworks..wanted to join rayyan at attica or thomas at st james after tat bt it was crowded and i was literally stuck at esplanade area..

hmmm...before u noe it 2009 is here..a totally new yr and beginning for me..its gonna be totally diff frm last yr..I have ORD-ed..im gonna start uni soon..my sister is getting married in feb..her fiance will be new member of the family..im working..im single..haiz..totally different from previous yrs..and as some of my frens will noe i hate changes..hopefully i am able to accept the changes embrace them and make the best of it..i luv my family..i luv my frens..tat will nva change..

after tat we wanted to find a place to chill..decided on the balcony and sat there and drank and played games on nard's ipod touch..this word game..had everyone thinkin while drinkin our martini..haha..

was in yi xiang's car when he turned 20..headed to yi xiangs hse to slack after tat..went back home earlier to sleep coz im workin the nxt dae..

Xmas Eve update! hahaha...

Well, we had this pot luck and gift xchange at Thomas hse with our veri own xmas tree tat we bought..haha

my mum made pasta..hmm..and i gt willis' gift..haha..it was a great gathering..

After tat we were bored so we decided to head to timbre where wenzu was..

but we reached late and onli watched the live band for a while b4 leaving..

went to slack at esplanade's starbucks..went off earlier to meet my frenz while they slack and discussed wat to do for thomas' brthdae..hahaha..

slept onli at 5 am...zZzzZ tired..

we had dinner at this magu mogu..this new jap place at fareast..the food sux..the miso soup taste like soya water..yux..if its not coz i was reali hungry..i wldn even eat it..

we had our xmas gift xchange too..as usual..we choose our own present and the other person paid..haha..

had a hard time lookin for the presents tho..and the gift xchange for thomas's party wit 20bucks budget..

wanted to walk arnd and look at xmas lights but itwas late and i had to werk early tml..haha..in the end i onli had like 4 hrs of sleep..pathetic..

was workin in the mornin till arnd 2pm..then went home to change and meet shah n frog at harbour frnt to eat lunch..

met up wit yazid after tat coz he gt our drink..we then headed to pahlawan to drink..haha..

then otw to enter siloso met up wit ali and his frens where we drank some more!after tat we were high alrdy just the right condition to enter zouk out in!haha..

alot of drama in the event but overall it was fun..stayed till 7+am then left together on bus..my back hurts..hmmmm

alot of things happened...so luan..haha..

werk is pretty boring..maybe after means testing is implemented in january it will be more fun..haha..nw they are sendin us to a few courses to learn hw to conduct means testing and all for patients including financial counselling..get to learn new things every day..tats the good thing abt the job..i learn things tat i nva knew b4..hw to admit urself into hospital..the bills like..the subsidies..hw to protect urself wit the insurance and sort..the schemes as well as policies..soo many things tat i have learnt..haha..

yesterday ran 10+km after so long..went straight after reach home frm werk..wit mas, willis n edwin..felt super shag when walkin back..haha..rested and watched tv plus eat dinner..then after bathin went down coz willis pickin us up for supper..dorreen came too..ate prata at jln kayu..haha..my banana prata was reali delicious..we were aldy super shag in the car..haha..so when i reached home i straight away KO-ed on my bed and slept till now..lucky todae no work!woohoo..

goin malacca tml and mon wit family hope it will be fun..its been long since we when out together ..haha..im wonderin wat to do in the car on the way there..sian

our Batam trip! haha..had a great time there..

stayed at Batam View hotel..

Bought our polos from megamall! haha and they have delicious doughnuts..yumm..

and oh ya..cheap cup noodles..

Had loads of fun at their private beach activities..kayak..banana boat..swimmin..takin dumb pics..haha..and fishing..tho we din catch anythin..

overall it was an awesome trip..and relaxing too..

cant wait for our Taiwan trip nxt yr and there will be more ppl too..

So, b4 tat we lugged our duffel bag to landon's huge hse and dump them there..freshen up and headed to have our dinner at burger king..haha

So after tat we went to dbl O where hau gt drunk and made a huge din..haha..but it was fun and we had loads of fun..i was pretty tipsy too..haha..stayed till it was almost closin time then we went back to landon's hse and slept..

Gt a new blogskin...i guess it reflects myself as a person..dull..i realise everyone else have this personality and charisma..each one unique but makes them attractive and remembered..but for me, im just my own dull self..kinda sad if u tink abt it...hmmm..

So anyway, went to this travel fair at Suntec yesterday wit a few of them..we actuali wanted to look and plan our Taiwan trip nxt feb or march..haha..but it was a futile attemp..cause we couldnt confirm the number of ppl who can go..it was a pretty small travel fair..oh and there was this reali pitchy singer frm china singing on stage..hahaa..

there was the oasics fair too..we jst went in and kinda messed up everythin in the pile in the hope that there will be smthin that caught our eyes..but no such luck..at least lunch was good..free flow of double choc chip ice cream and float! woohoo..

met a few ppl for dinner after tat..haha..went to far east where we met up wit the gerls that they wanted to meet for the first time..haha..met a number of taurus peeps there..it was quite fun ah..slackin arnd esplanade..haha..and lookin at hw things go for them..hmm..

yawn, tryin to finish my microsoft powerpoint online course frm eprep..some mindef initiated online courses for ording personnels to help them u noe..prepare for the life after full time national service..whether it be work or studies..but yea, its reali boring

Anyway, i felt like today i achieved alot..haha..
I collected my newly made biometitric passport..like finally..and i have to say, the waiting time was really short..haha..i expected to wait like hours..

After tat bought the shirt i wanted at paragon while waiting for Edwin(who overslept btw)..haha..so we went to jobexpress at taka..he gt an interview at TTSH and mine at SGH
bought some stuff i needed at TTSH pharmacy too..haha..

and we headed to chinatown to this tuition agency where he became an agent associate there and im just helpin him to get customers..not really keen on doin it alone..its under his acct so im just helpin him..and the person is realli wierd..his office is like a rented home..plus he work as a part time paracouncellor..hmmm

oh ya, and we went to holidaybagus and peninsula where we finalised our holiday trip to...Batam!..haha..after much changes , we finally decided on batam and closed the deal there..its realli cheap..so 6 of us goin on 23-25 nov..at batam view resort..hope it will be fun there..the sun sand beach and foooood..haha..

Went to meet dear after all tat for awhile b4 she went to catch a movie wit her fren..had gelare and forgot to pay when we rushed for the movie..but of coz i came back to pay..haha! and the people there didnt even notice yet..tsk tsk..

just had my dental surgery on Monday..it was a tormenting experience..haha..little wonder y so many have phobias of goin to the dentist..so i had this impacted tooth tats like totally growing the wrong way and the other one is just abit slanted..so the impacted tooth had to be removed surgically while the other one just pull out..
she was like dun worry..the top one will just take a minute to pull out...

she was still pulling at my tooth..haha..and my head was being rocked pretty vigorously..its a she so maybe she dun hve tat much strength ya noe..well, luckily its a she thus i figure tats y my inflammation afterwards was barely noticeable..
had 6 days mc just for tat..haha..but of coz i went back on thurs ..

anyway, tats a pic of my removed wisdom teeth, one is surgically removed(broken into 3 parts) and the other was removed via the traditional method; using brute strength..

fri had blood test wit bunkmates..then i went for company photo taking while they went for chemical defence coz i was on mc still..haha..participated in the route march too..after tat..

i tink im gonna miss the life there..ill miss army life somesort..since i've spent 1yr10mnths doin it and now im in transition phase..u noe..to the nxt part of my life and i've yet to get comfortable on smthin..hmmm..
hope all the ord plans will fall into place nicely..

watched House Bunny with dear..its a damn hilarious movie..and the cast were awesome..haha..its not so much as the storyline but rather the actors inside the movie and their acting..the characters really fit them to the tee..

so this is a realii late entry for the first dae of hari raya..this year's raya is pretty fun..except there are less houses to visit..plus theres certain events tat happened that kinda caused chaos within the large family..so yea..its a pretty simple celebration compared to previous years..

nevertheless, its probably gonna be the last of us 4 person at home since my sis is getting married nxt yr..sooo..we took reali crazy pics..

first few ones we acted like reali sad as in "omg! someone just died in our family" kind sad..then we did a normal pose then we had the 'fun, candid' poses...haha..it was hilarious..we had a ball just takin pics and ended up leaving the house late..haha..

after tat went to a few houses with my closest cousins..reached home pretty late and tired..but happy to see all my cousins again..

oh yea, and who can forget the delicious food..i tink i gained back all the pounds i lost while fasting..well, on the days tat i fasted anyway..haha..

Fasting month is heree..like need to fast onliii..anyway to those ppl who are reali insensitive to the other fasting muslims (im veri tolerant so its ok)..balls to u mann..ill hunt u and lay the smack down..haha..

yesterday was POC loo..had SFT duty..so i was the ferry safety spec just need to lead them to the correct ferry and usher them in; ensuring all have seats and those bastards will move in and not put their bags on seats leaving old ladies doin balancing acts on board the fastcraft..it was pretty slack for the coming in of parents but when they were goin back..it was pretty xiong..continuous back to back ferry rides plus stinky recruits..haha..bt we packed up fast and ciao..break fast pretty late..ate kfc..and skool off todae!..

was damn sleepy..haha..but had fun eating prata at prata hse and playin lan for abit after tat..thnks to jie lun for sending my back..i need to get my license soon mann..

Ripcurl beach volleyball champs on sat..fun in the sun! haha..altho the sun was scorching hot..but had loads of fun..met alot of ppl there too and a lot of familiar faces that always play beach vball at sentosa..hahaz..so anyway we lost 2 matches haha..bt it was like barely..was reali proud of the 2nd match coz we were leading throughout until 15-15..lost onli by 5 points for each game..bt the 2nd game we reali improved..and we won a game wit this other team..hahaz..

my little finger gt abit strained tho..bt all is good..great to spend time playin at the beach..haha..

Went to sentosa the other time to kinda play vball and 'train' for the ripcurl beach vball..haha..so i wont look so out-of-touch..but anyway its fun..i like the spirit and atmosphere at he beach playin beach vball and all especially when u can get a court and stay in it..hahaz..

got a few pics frm huimin who left for overseas studies already..wish her all the best! haha..nxt week is the ripcurl beachvolley already..woohoo..fun..get to meet everyone there..hahaz..

Today is the army half marathon..woa..first time running and its 21km..damn damn shag..for the first time i felt cramps while running..it was at the 18-19 km mark there..haha..last 1km reali unbearable but just kept running coz i noe it will end faster tat way..hahaz..but reali proud of myself..i tink i did pretty well considering that i dun like running thus i seldom do..hahaz..but at least i overtake the fast ppl in my company!!hahaz..i tot i was reali veri far off until i heard my name so i turned and saw pardeep and pu den..haha..so stayed wit them a while i realised i can go faster so i went off..haha..

met up wit thomas after tat..went to change and took mrt to cwp for our lunch..long time since i met him..nard and edwin in newzealand training..so have to meet them after tat..haha..maybe ill call them up after they touch down on tue..

Back frm 2 weeks confinement..anyway b4 bookin in tat day for the confinement, went to eat at Go India at vivo with dear..wa nice food reali..plus tasty drinks but of coz all these came wit a hefty price..haha..but had fun eating there and enjoying the great food, company and ambience..

anyway, back to the confinement. The new batch of recruits are a major headache..they have all sorts of different characters and problems plus physical disabilities..however, they are a fun bunch too..had a pretty fun time with their whacky antics and wierd personalities..

but i guess the internal management of the company is reali collapsing..like not onli does it feels different to be in taurus but it also makes me feel that i dont want to be there anymore..2 more months there..i suppose there's the onli motivation left..which is to noe more ppl, make more frenz and do my job..other unimportant matters i just choose to ignore..ignorance is definitely bliss..

i tink ill just keep quiet abt everythin frm now onwards..no point voicing out my opinions..and as i have already realised long ago..im someone who finds it reali hard to move on to new things and i am reali serious abt mantaining the tradition..bt i guess nt everyone is into it..sigh..

Had a 13 km run on thurs at East Coast..wah..it was damn tiring..we were supposed to reach there at 8 am..so imagine the rush i was in after i woke up..couldnt find my running shoe so just grabbed my puma shoe and left..hahaz..

We had like this small cohesion thingy after tat..just some food catered plus a discussion on being a commander and whateva shit..it was a total waste of time..seriously..played abit of vball but the wind was too strong..i miss playin vball mann..

So anyway, celebrated book kiat's brthdae at dbl O on fri nite after my basic theory (which i passed!!) ..yea and boon kiat was wasted after 11pm..hahaz..we had to send him off by cab..sad case..back home by midnite for his brthdae celebration..bt at the end it got pretty boring..maybe shld hve gone to another club.. after tat watched hellboy 2 at cine..not bad..watched hellboy 1 the other day on tv..so wasnt tat lost..just tat fell asleep a couple of times..haha! more pics of brthdae wit jason..but doubt ill get them anyway..lolx..

Anyway, after tat slept and didnt realize i slept for so long until i woke up and found out tat it was already 4.30 pm..so i ate my reali late lunch and went to meet sebast and kelvin to go for zhan he's 21st party at chevrons..

we were catching up and gossiping quite abit..hahaha..and zhan he's family was reali nice..his mum kept offering us food like satay and chicken and stuff..hahaz..and of coz the cliche throwing of the birthdae boy into the pool which we played a big part in coz his fren approached us to help..hahaz..

after the cake and stuff..we went to walk arnd while waiting for sebast to leave for his supper wit zena!hahaha..yea..tired after tat..hahaz

Had a small gathering at Ken's hse on Sat b4 they embark on a new chapter of their NS life..haha..some may be ecstatic abt it while others may seem apprehensive and even scared but ultimately its something that u have to go thru and honestly speaking, the experience is reali unique and just try to gain somethin out of this 2 yrs ur giving to the nation..haha..

Anyway, back to the gathering, the theme is like a pot-luck by the pool thingy..he had this nice balinese styled hut at the pool area which is a great place to dine at nite..hahaz..in the end onli section 3 and 4 turned up wit the commanders so we had a whole lot of food with some trays werent even touched..hahaz..

gt a tour of the house too and it was fun jumping on his water bed and pushing sufi into the pool plus the wine and cigars..hahaz..oh yea, and disturbin ken talkin on the fone wit his girl ..just like how i used to in camp..haha..

First we met up and caught up wit each other quite abit..veri interesting and funny things we shared..haha..a good time..then we had a hard time finding place to eat but we finally found a place at the cathay..indopadang plus fish and co called us tat they have seats too..it was a pretty ok dinner la..not say veri ex also..sooo all was good..

Anyway, watched a movie wit SNOX..'Never Back Down' ..its about fight clubs and a guy who's learning how to fight to defend his family and frenz..pretty exciting watchin all the fights and lookin at their techniques..but overall the story was pretty dead..if not for the fighting i would probably hve fallen asleep..

Went to Timbre the other day for dinner wit some ex recruits..haha..it was a nice place with a pretty good ambience especially when the live band started playing..but it looked like everyone were like rich bitches and bastards arnd there..haha..the food was average..bt i guess the outdoor concept wit the live band and drinks with frenz make for a veri ingenious concept..

hmm..been along time since i updated..just didnt feel like it..hahaz..so anyways,

1 more batch have POP-ed and i miss them already..it has been a really tumultuous batch..nva ending problems and solutions and interesting happenings..lol..

just to quote a few..the ghostly haunting incidents, the complains, the suicidal cases, depressions and many more..I will always remember their antics too..each of them different attitude..some veri emo..some likes to throw tantrums..some lie with their left eye twitching(yes, tats hw i noe hes lying..haha!), some like to bargain alot, some are reali a nervous wreck, there are ppl who are really veri naughty too..haha..i just tell all of them that they need to grow up some point or another..grow up doesnt mean be the serious, boring person that ur not but just be able to stop for a sec and think before you carry out an action; think whether that particular act ur goin to do will have dire consequences or be to ur advantage..you know..and dont do things on impulse just to regret it later..

i feel like i've not done a good job but i do think that i've done what i was required to do..but i guess i might have failed in various areas..nevertheless i did try my best..and i really learnt alot..i hope ill just keep improving yea..

this batch is really an eventful batch with a gamut of diff personalities..hope they will keep in touch! :))

after tat met up wit nard and idhz to get our free entry and hang out at starbucks while waiting for the others..it was quite fun..other then the fact that i was having a fever..and it felt veri cold..lolx..

watched superhero movie wit rinna..it was a reali lame movie bt it was funny also..

Awake is a reali exciting movie with a lot of twists in the movie itself plus u can actuali feel the anxiety and how lost the actor felt..i was at the edge of my seat the whole way..plus there was the ever hot jessica alba with some reali steamy scenes..hahaz..

Nard's chalet was funn..haha..mahjong was unbearable long haha..i reached the point tat i dun care if i win anot..lolx..

and the villa is huge..like its actuali a whole bungalow itself with abit of resort theme to it..plus it had cable and a karaoke room(tat we used to sleep in instead)..

had cycling too and it was pretty tiring..considering tat it has been long since i last cycled..much less cycling for like 10+ km..within 1hr 45 min..haha..

oh yea..and the bbq was a success too..yummy food catered..and great ppl to bbq them and of coz the expert nard to start the fire..haha

Today is a holidayyy..haha..at least for those in BMT tekong..cause its their anniversary..so we had this 'GALA' event at Lido..so they booked this largest theatre for this abt 800+ of us i would say..they were showing national treasure and I am legend..and we had to report there at freakin 7.45am..ZzzZ

in btwn there were games..speeches..lunch..and a lucky draw..it was a pretty successful event i would say..and the organiser did a pretty good job..i wonder hw much they actuali spent on this whole event..

bought a shirt at topman after tat..haha..regret nt buyin the white one alsoo..lolx..then went home after acc aloy to eat lunch..

and ..dad bought me 2 lovebirds..hha..they are like just learnin to eat on their own..so we can feed them the special cereal-like concoction..lolx..and they are like veri cute..

and actuali i had 2 lovebirds..bt when i enlisted and had 2 weeks confinement in bmt..my parents said they escape and flew off..soo..yea..my parents said they were probably lookin for mee..hahaz..so nw i have new ones and they are the same color la..damn cute..haha..

well, theres definitely smthin to look out for..november 2008 is the mnth i ORD..haha..cant wait.. lets reminisce wats 2007 is all abt..haha

2007 has been a reali interesting and tumultuous year..with loads of new experiences for me..basically alot of time in army..enlisted in january..went thru a whole lot of shit..met alot of new frens in BMT, SISPEC, and my dear taurus platoon 3 recruits whom are missed..hahaz..

got my Alevels results..did badly..especially maths..i was utterly dissapointed..However, i still managed to secure a place in the course of my choice! haha..biological sciences in NTU..thnk god for the interview they had..if just lookin at my grades i wld definitely nt get in..cant wait for uni in 2009..

then..my sis got engaged! so happy for her, and she's planning to get married in 2009..so ill be involved coz i ord already..hehe..hope she will be happy..

in bslc i got my first gold in ippt like ever..i din even get gold in pri skool or sec skool la..woohoo~..thnks to my great section mates..where 7 out of 12 of us got gold..hahaz..

i got my CSB badge..after walkin a damn 32km..aghh..pure torture la..haha..and i reali had to motivate myself coz our platoon was damn small plus some ppl fell out ..so i kinda was walkin alone..duno why..haha..i almost gt lost too..it was damn dark and i was like in the middle..a grp was far in front and another far at the back..lolx..

got to throw grenade in bmt..fire live rounds..use all types of weapons sar, saw, m203, plus fire my own bangalore torpedo..and push myself to the ultimate limit..learning things abt myself and also tryin hard to improve myself.. hope i have improved..even a teeny weeny bit..hahaz

I got to take the aeroplane and travel without parents to taiwan..haha..stayed in a hotel wit frenz..walked thru the jungles, mountains and villages of taiwan..it was extremely fun!..tho the 9 days outfield camp was definitely tiring..bt i kinda enjoyed it..except the walkin of coz..(why am i in infantry!!ahh)

posted back to tekong and my first batch was reali funn..taurus 3..first time fasting in camp..haha..of coz we had alot of fun sneakin food to eat wit the the rec..lolx..

Its hari raya haji todae! public hols yea...haha so happy holidays everyonee..

today woke up and gt ppl send food to our hse..yummy..haha..so had a rather big breakfast..

then me my sis and dad left to visit my grandmum's grave for awhile..it was raining..yea..

after tat we went to the fish farm area near chua chu kang there..went to the fish spa..when u put ur legs inside and the fish will actuali bite the dead skin and whatnots..it's said tat it can cure the skin diseases such as acne and athlete's foot..at a mere cost of 10 bucks for half an hour..it offers the cheapest rate in town for fish spa..haha..in japan, they actuali offer this service for facial..to help acne problems and to get a smoother skin..

anyway, after tat we went to my grandma(mum's side) hse for gathering..met my aunts, cousins, and my grandparents there..plus ate the yummy food they served..hahaz..stayed there for quite awhile coz it was one of my cousin's brthdae too..

b4 we went home we visited my dad's fish pond again..its actuali near the fish spa..haha..fed the arowanas and the birds there..hahaz..b4 finally goin home to slp..zZzz..

Soo, my first batch just POP-ed on 11 of december..hmmm, can say i was happy for them..but i was reali sad to see them go..haven gotten the pics frm zhiyong tho..

you know, after they left mak and me went up to lock the bunks and suddenly everything were empty and quiet..i still remember i go up ther all the time and slack and eat and laming arnd..nw its no more..

alot of them asked me..how was it takin my first batch? i wld hve to say..it was definitely great fun to have them as my first batch..a playful and fun bunch of ppl always cheering me up..and reali, as much as i tried to be there for them all the time..they were also there for me..and i dare say they helped me thru in my journey in starting as a section commander..

I will definitely miss them..nt just my platoon bt also taurus company..my tentage ppl..the platoon 2 ppl and platoon 4 ppl tat i always disturb and of coz my platoon 3 peeps..they will all go their own ways nw in command skools and so on..hope they do well..it almost seems inevitable tat we will in the long run lose contact wit each other..haha..bt yea..the memories of having them as my first batch will always be etched in my mind..take care guys!!

had platoon outing..haha..fun fun..

we went to sentosa in the day..i woke up late coz din set alarm..so had to cab there..then tze yi(duno hw to spell his name) sent 4 of us into sentosa in his car while the rest took the monorail..

he seemed like an ok driver..haha..

reached there and contemplated btwn palawan and siloso bt settled eventually on siloso where we had a lot of fun ..haha..played soccer..basketball..vball..rugby(which inflicted the most casualty) and just plain goofing arnd in the water and throwing sand bombs at each other..

pardeep was there too..

and then me, aaron and shawn took tze yi's car to sengkang where he's picking up his gf then i took a bus there home..

quickly changed into my other clothes and threw the sandy ones into the machine and headed out straight to have the platoon dinner at sakura(somerset one)..loads of ppl were there..haha..not forgetting the scary lionel wit his intimidating wig and costume..it was a fun dinner..hahaz..

then last nite went to corner stone to meet up wit pardeep and others to celebrate alloysius brthdae..

after tat we headed off to MOS where we gt in free..hehe..and to top it up..we gt into VIP rooms..altho it was like nothin special..

we were like switching rooms and then decided to switch to plush where we got in free again..lolx..the music there was much better i suppose..and less crowded too..

cabbed back after tat when i was feelin bored..then crashed at thomas hse..hahaz..got my shirt..and then we talked until i fell asleep and it was time for him to go out to his section bball outing..hahaz..

secret is a nice movie..watched it last week..the romantic scenes and cute teasings were reali touching and funny to watch..haha..its like u will smile while watchin the couple teasing each other..u noe..

and their piano playin was nice too..plus the songs werent all tat bad..and the ending was totally unexpected which was cool..catch it guys!

wanted to catch hairspray wit nc on tue BUT there was this unprofessional error made where our timing to report was apparently wrongly written on the paper..so we all had like 30 mins to report to the saf ferry terminal at changi..luckily my dad took leave for his dental..so he sent me altho i was late too..like many others..thus our movie n lunch outing gt cancelled..

this first week at tekong is pretty slack..coz we're hving the commander's prep course..for 3 weeks i tink..so we had lectures after lectures..then games..after dinner will be slacking at the spl and then playin soccer or bball..slping..bt once we're posted to our companies..we wld be reali busy..siann..

booked out yesterday and got my new specs! haha..its casing is nicee..went to eat later dinner after tat wit iqbal..and i tink i dropped my book on the bus..shitt..cant find it nw..

So FINALLY aslc is over for mee..21 weeks there..and there were some pretty gd memories..

ASLC in bravo was hell..it was the most depressing company to be in..but then, the company was good too..will always remember the harrowing experience in taiwan where we marched for like 13okm..ZzZz..BUT the tour there was reali fun..we had a great time there..

and it all ended on thurs wit the passing out parade..we practised everyday since monday..which turned all of us black wit a line on our foreheads due to the beret..haha..

got my posting too..got sent back to tekong as section commander...taking the new recruits..dont noe if its a gd or bad thing..hmmm..

heyz ! back frm taiwan finally..hai..it was definitely the worst fieldcamp tat i've been thru..7 days of pure torture..

bt hey at least the 3 day 'longstride' navigation exercise was fun! all thnks to my team leader ivan..haha..he's a mad guy la..we basically did everythin that they warn us nt to do..and wat happens if we had been caught? basically we will have a permanent record on it..haha..BUT we had a lot of fun instead and we found all our checkpnts and even finished at an average time..woohoo..talk abt working smart..haha..

the 7 days 'worrior' fieldcamp howeva was shitty..we had super heavy fieldpacks and we marched a total of 150km with our fieldpacks on..altho i tink it was further due to us getting lost a number of times..the afternoon marches were deadly..wit temp of 38 degrees..a couple of ppl had to be on drips..and some had heat exhaustion and stuff..and imagine climbing like 2 mountains every other day..ZzZ..furthermore we were starving since we did not wan to eat our inedible combat rations and decided to just survive on the biscuits and accessory items..nt forgetting marching for 3 hrs or so in heavy downpour up a mountain despite the lightning display above us..after which we slept in wet boots and cold uniform..it felt reali awful shivering in ur slp..haha..

bt anyways..the 4 days tour was fun..shall update on the tour when i get pics frm ivan and lim wei~anyway tats the pic of my cuzzins sending me off at the airport..haha..

goin to the airport sooon..leaving for taiwan..flight is at 2.30am bt they wan us to reach by 12midnite..and stone there..ZzzZ..

will be there for 3 weeks..hai~ another fieldcamp in the jungle..haha..and this will be the longest fieldcamp ever..and the most shag coz we have to travel so far as the trainin grnd is hugeee..the onli thing im lookin forward to in R n R which is 4 days of holiday in taiwan..whee..hope it comes fast..

yesterday went to alter my pants then went shopping..haha..actuali supposed to meet edward bt in the end nva..haha..so met up wit jim after him work..looked for shoes and a shirt for the airport to roc..haha and i bought a new bag too..woot~ luv my new bagg..hahaz..the salesperson must be shocked coz i asked for a ruler to measure the length of the bag..haha!

after tat took the train back and both of us fell asleep and missed the stop..lolx..ate mac after tat..i tink mac is my fav fastfood nw..yumm~

Finally..end of 2 weeks confinement..had the worst fieldcamp ever which is grandslam 2..over with soc test..done wit live demolition and live platoon firing which was reali sian coz we did the same thing over and over again...ZzzZ

had a couple of nites out..went vivo the other nite haha..saw huimin but she din respond..went to eat and tried to shop for pants for roc trip..but to no avail..

the other time wanted to watch harry potter bt no more tickets so we went to just chill..

anyway talkin abt fieldcamp..it was like we did not slp for 4 days..sunday had platoon battle procedure practice then at nite we moved off to march from marsiling to mandai or smthin..

reached arnd 2 am i tink then we harboured there until morning then did a deliberate attack..then we had to walk again for 8 km or smthin wit the FREAkin heavy fieldpack..agh..it was like 20+kg altogether can..then we reached the place at 4 am or smthin then had to do dawn attack..

once we captured the place we had to defend it soo the digging began..we had to dig a shellscrape for us to prone in and a trenchhole which is chest level when u stand up !!@!*~!

so damn tiring..i felt like i was digging my own grave..after digging throughout the day and nite(rite..we din slp again)..we had to travel(yes, again..) for arnd 8km to another place where we had to do another dawn attack on a build up area or a somewhat town area with buildings..

this was quite fun..coz there was smoke and flames and everything and we had to run thru it..haha..And after tat ..we had to walk back to camp..plus this time there is a 'casualty' who is 80kg..and we had to carry him back to camp..torture man..nt to mention..everyone was out of water since like 8hrs ago..

so as u can see..no sleeping time was indented for us..haha..

reali glad tats over..now left wit taiwan trip on saturday..21 july..will be back on 12 august..abt 3 weeks..sian..there will be another field camp..haiz..

wathed harry potter today wit joel..nicest harry potter movie..there was a bit of humor and romance too..great movie to catch!

after tat met up wit dad to buy pants for the roc trip..haha..so troublesome la the trip..still cannot wear jeans..haha..

this week booked out on fri afternoon..woohoo~ haha..

bt its after suffering so much la..did our 32km at tekong..where after 20km gt river crossing..and after 32km got 100m shoot..ZzZz..i almost died anyway..

onli left 21 ppl in my platoon at the end..haha..

so fri went home and slept..my legs hurt like hell..gt some massage..haha..sat watched surfs up wit joel and jasper..nice cartoon! haha loved it..then met up wit vic jk peng yawen and yvonne for class dinner at village the heerens..wa the seafood pasta damn nice..plus the deserts there..im gonna eat there again nxt time..haha..this time gonna buy more deserts..haha..

saw alot of ppl i noe in town yesterday..and i found out sumthin shockin and sad..haiz..bt he seems to be happy wit it..and i cant tell anyone abt it ..just hope it will be fine la for him..

booked out arnd noon and went to town to buy fathers day present wit thomas..edwin came later coz they had hockey dinner at nite..

bought him new slippers coz his like run down..haha..and he uses mine sometimes..

then gt myself a new vintage shirt frm queens couture..nicee..gt a new belt to wear to camp also..haha..and took a pic wit this pretty model givin out balloons and promoting sony photo printers where they printed the photos u took for free..lolx..

then watched fantastic 4..wOo nice show mann..one of my fav superheroes since youngg; invisible woman..haha

anyway this week at camp was tiring..had navigation test..atp shooting test..soc training..ippt test and 10km run in 60min test on sat..finally this wk is over..nxt wk will be the watermanship and 32km march at pulau tekong..haiz..hope i survive nxt week coz it will be a friday nite bookout...

the first 3 or 4 days in ASlC bravo was pure madness and rush..i dun tink i utilised the bunk's tables and chairs yet..
plus we had this dumb parade to get our beret and we had to wake up at 3.50am to fall in at 4.05am and reach a realii steep hill by fast marching 4 km in 32 min..ZZzzZ..i swear the way up the hill was almost a vertical slope..
monday is the vavigation test and we havent even gotten our checkpoints yet..haven drew our rations and done our plannin..tonite's gonna be another rush..haiz..
oh yea..and their soc is madness la..have to run all the way to start point plus we have a extra weights put on our lpv..grr..

anyway watched shrek 3 during the weekend..veri hilarious and to me the cartoon ever on screen..haha..they hve more characters added this time like cinderella and repunzel..and donkey's children are so cute..haha..

sat had a nice dinner wit parents..felt fat after tat...haha...so sunday went gym wit joel..then afternoon went out wit nard and mas they all..ate lunch and talked abit b4 they have to book in to tekong and continue their lives as recruits..LOL..

oh yea.. and i watched this dvd..i tink its music and lyrics..veri sweet and touching movie..a great dvd to rent ya..so go get it! haha

okiii..BSLC course just ended and as expected, im goin to ASLC, the advance section leader course..ZzZzz..altho i kinda prepared myself for it, i was still veri upset la..i seriously dunno how im gonna survive a 22km run...32km route march wit river crossing..and the dreaded digging firetrench..haiz..plus the 32km is overnite and the firetrench digging is overnite again..imagine the number of days without slp..sadd..i just hope my new section will be as good as my previous one..so at least theres some comfort in camp..

soo BSLC ended wit a 28km route march overnite frm 9.30pm to a freakin 6am..we had parade rehersals until we were shagged b4 we were allowed to go for the march..and after the march at 6.30am we had a grad parade where we had to wait for them to put on our corporal rank while in full battle order wit a damn heavy fieldpack..basically we stood there for and hour or so..and then they just refused to let us slp..so basically we din slp for 1 whole day..some ppl said the feelin of gettin ur rank after the march wld be awesome..bt i just felt relieved..relieved that the march ended..lol..

had to book in on thurs nite for fri's sispec anniversary celebration..the ppl were playin pranks like switching boots..hiding stuff..wearing a white cloth and scaring ppl..then when everythin like quite dwn and i was abt to slp..they called me to do cdt in the office arnd 1am..haha..sian..watched tv until 2.30 am i tink then the sergeant came back and i went back to bunk and slept..so the celebration was just games and cheers..warcry..plus a race between diff hq of sispec..andd..after tat we had our last dinner as a section at billy bombers..haha i luved my spaghetti meatball..so sadd tat we wont be seeing each other anymore..

our section reali bonded well..and during times of depression and stress we will be there to support each other..and its comforting to noe that the section is there..hope we will still have outings together..haha..pray for me ya guyss~ lol

anyway wanderer over..have to find checkpoints..imagine looking for checkpoints at tekong in the middle of the nite..pitch dark la..cant see a single thing..i had a hard time keeping awake..ZzZ..bt thnks to logesh we found 1 nite one and we also found all our day checkpoints so we passed..grandslam was tiring..i tink i passed my assessment..pheww..

yesterday book out day..went to chinatown k-ster wit some section mates..haha..fun..taking lame photos and singin and watching the videos..plus we got a super huge room wit 3 tvs and big sofas tat can slp on..haha..

after tat ate at fisherman's wharf..not bad..bt can get sick of it easily..then we had ice cream..haha..yumm..banana choc is nicee..by tat time i was veri tired already..and the stupid mrt everytime no seats..siann..

Back frm 2nd week of field camp; exercise catwalk and nightowl i tink..haha..shagged..the first day was a huge shock when we hve to do platoon movement and comb thru thick long lalang tat almost mad me have cramps..lolx ..the fire movements were tiring..and the rain made it worst since we dont have a basha..so we just sit thru the rain in our gortex jackets..

oh yea..b4 the fieldcamp i had guard duty..watched tv at guardhse until 11+ then couldnt sleep until my shift came..when my shift end at 3am..i slept and was woken up by the rp ppl at 5.15 to freaking do area cleaning..>.<>

and after fieldcamp on thurs we had to go back on fri to search for a stupid signal set which was dropped..3 platoons were deployed to search and after 8 gruelling hours of searching someone finally found in hidden in some bushes..phew~ we were lucky to find it mann..if not our weekends are burnt..haha..

todays ippt..then slack..haha..was supposed to go k box bt in the end alot were lazy..haha..all sheng yang's fault for booking out late..wa lauuu..nvm..goin buy mother's brthdae and mama day present later wit dad..haha..he also haven buy yet..soo last minute la he..

long break is here..arnd 4 days..this week was ok..haha..

had gypsy 2..where my grp found 2 out of 3 checkpoints..we gt lost a few times and gt into trouble once..phew..luckily the sgt was a kind one..haha..and we were the 2nd wave to get back..gt to rest moree..

supposed to have my complex guard duty b4 gypsy 2..its where u have to patrol arnd the wHOLE of pasir laba camp the whole nite wit a few hrs of rest every interval i tink..but luckily sgt major asked the ooc ppl to replace mee..so i dun hve to do any guard duty..phew~

had ippt too..first time i ran 2.4km below 10min..haha..9.47..woohoo..bt my jump still sux..ZzZz..bt improved alot in running lor..from 10.30 last week to 9.47 this week..haha

nites out after ippt..haha..played lan wit my bunkmates..quite fun..one of them had their virgin game of dota..then we ate kfc..ahh..felt fat..

then soc the nxt morning..passed it tat time round..haha..ran it wit ziyang..one of my bunkmates..

we also had medic test today..for arresting haemorrhage and bandaging fractures..veri fun..i tink im quite good at this..haha..i prefer this to weapon handlings..bt the test like anyhow one also..hahaz..o well..

my sis gt engaged last week..so it was quite a rush book out for me wit veri little sleep..haha..bt quite fun to see all my relatives again..

this week was supposed to be a short week but i felt like it was a super long week..coz i was the LPS or acting platoon sergeant thingy..it was veri stressful man and its not like im those regulars who did it for the first week wit 6 yrs of experience..they din even teach me the ropes since i din becme platoon ic in bmt also..like hw to report properly and smtimes the LSC also count properly make my work really troublesome..basically it was reali stressful la..and i am also book in/out ic..so i needed to do 2 jobs yesterday..ZZzzZ and i felt tat it was reali unfair abt some things the sgt made la..nvm..since i cant be rude as a pvt onli..

on a lighter note..i tink my section mates are bonding pretty well..and we eat a lot..smtimes we eat 3 packets of potato chips a day..LOL..bt smtimes when early RO then we try to do nite trainin also..haha..and we smtimes chat for hours..until lights off..

bt SOC here is soo damn tiring..and for the first time ever i could nt clear my swing trainer when the bar is smaller then bmt one la..wonder why..must be too shagged after running frm company line to the starting pnt then run 700m to the obstacles..after tat still gt more rounds..ZZzZ..i hate soc mann..do until super shag..

had some tests too..safety test..then the navigation course..then had this live firing demonstration which was at some high hill or knoll..where the japanese stepped on b4 or smthin after the dropped off frm the sea nearby..

4 more weeks to end of 1st term..hope it will be betta..

i love the new tv series heroes la..its such an awesome show and it wins Lost handsdown..haha..and the show actuali teaches u alot..

booked out last nite..man, was i wrong in thinkin tat this week wld be a slack one since we onli have 3 days..but it was definitely the worst 3 days of life in the bmt..it was really taxing..we had like pt, standard obstacle, close combat and IPPT..for tat 3 days back to back..some of us booked out today close to limping..haha..even my dad noticed when he came to pick me up..well, at least i gt a silver for the ippt evaluation..

we had this OC nite to wit pizza and drinks..it was ok i guess..my platoon kinda screwed our skit bt i tink joe sang reali well..miss jaguar was reali so cool..as in it was a reali creative way to dress up..she looked like a cross btwn tomb raider and an alien species with green camo..and she had a whip to trigger any fantasies the officers may have..lolx..jonathan shaved his legs for the pageant thingy..haha..

woohoo~ long cny holiday..after long hectic weeks..wat with field camp and 'sit'test..im totally burnt and its so apparent cause u can reali see the spec frame outline..bt at least it was over..it was pretty fun actuali..

cny celebration in camp was totally not wat i expected..we had this like workout and then a 3km run..wth!..and then this race with balancing of oranges and passing in on..we reali had to rush to catch our ferry la..bt at least gotta go home early..haha..

took taxi home..and ate and slept..then went out wit thomas nard and edwin..haha..it gets reali suspicious when we see like botak ppl..ate at ramen ten..the place is nt bad i guess..saw a lot of ppl too..haha..like yawen and kh..bought sandals and a beanie..then gt dad's brthdae present..edwin and nard bought clothes for cny..haha bubble tea tasted reali heavenly..

it is reali revolting to see how some ppl can get so stuck up and thinks tat he needs to be or is the very best..and all tat talk abt needing to be better then others just to keep his ego going..i mean in one way i guess it can be a veri effective tool to spur him to be the best and all bt honestly, i tink it wld be better to do it for oneself rather then just to win others and not 'lose face'..maybe i might be like tat smtimes..at least after gettin to noe someone like tat..and actuali nt being to keen abt it..im pretty sure i wont let myself be like tat..

again for a freakin short time of 24 hrs or abit more..wtf..field camp is over and im glad its over coz it sucked..i almost died there..
the pumpings..jumping jacks wit rifles..slpin wit rifles..tents..digging dumb trenches and covering it up..prone position, tactical movements, battle innoculation course, the leapard crawl tekan session..oh man..i reali learnt alotback home of new things and faced tons of thngs la..and tat trench tat was reali tiring for me..maybe i din noe the technique or wat..bt i felt like burying myself in it..hwever still needed to dig..
and considering tat i had camo on my face for 6 whole days without washing..its reali a miracle tat onli 1 or 2 pimples popped out...haha..lucky for me tho by the 3 rd day my fever had subsided and i was able to concentrate more..
bt the experience reali showed me tt there are some ppl tat are just reali fucked up..

Oh noo..i onli have 1 day left..siann..i hope everyday will rain so we wont hve to do tough outdoor training..hahaz..maybe some light indoor ones will do ya..waha..

hmm..wed the j1s ate at seoul garden..din feel like eatin buffet..so ate lunch wit gary then waited for his fren chris to go gym at yck..woa..the longest i've stayed in a gym..hahaz..they are like gym junkies..lolx..i miss playin tennis there..haha..his fren went home then we ate dinner at yishun..healthy steam chicken rice..LOL..health freak..stupid dinner..haha..nw i noe tat chicken breast are all muscles while human breast are fats..waha..

today went to vball training in skool again..prob the last trainin im goin to..haha..nt bad ba..except tat it rained..so we had to use the futsal court..haha..i'll miss vball trainings..and the vball peeps..haha..dinner wit them aftr tat..stupid rain..had to run all the way frm skool to cwp..i was blinded by the rain on my specs..haha..gd trainin running wit my bag which contained rap's laptop..haah..

Monday went to eat sakae at wheelock wit yl, wq and jess..as usual i cant reali binge at japanese cuisine..haha..i was full just after a few rounds..and tat egg stuff was reali filling..i wished they had like an ice cream buffet or smthin..bt it was nt bad..haha..

went to borders after tat..cc said she saw me..haha..we went shop after tat..wonder if i shd go buy tat long sleeve shirt..looks nice bt i tink a lot of ppl has it liao..hmm..bt i did bought the other top tat i wanted..haha..fun time catching up and stuff..lol, my jaw was cramped frm all the laughing..

yesterday went for vball training in skool..went to cut hair b4 tat..decided tat i wldn cut botak..waha..since javier didnt also..so cut veri veri short..at least betta then rap haircut..LOL..acc him to nokia care then we ate in skool..lol..met the canteen ppl..the indian auntie closed liao..and the malay one gonna close nxt week..she goin to some factory canteen instead..plus alice and the bookshop auntie saw me also..haha..

then training..taught the new j1s hw to do the basic stuff..quite fun..the benz j1 veri fun ppl..hahaz..plus he keep giving excuses..lol..funny..then played the 1 point game thingy again..ate at bk after tat..wa they like so hardworkin..started doin their tutorials and studyin..woaa..

Saw 3 is nt as bad as some ppl say la..i tink the way they relate to the other 2 sequels was ingenious and the effects were gory and the new ways tat they torture the ppl are so cool..haha..

my back is totally burnt frm sentosa wit vball peeps on saturday..but it was veri fun..played a few beach vball wit the ppl at sentosa..haha..lost..bt gt a match lost 20- 25..haha..nt bad rite..LOL..

played in the water too and took loads of crazy fotos..swam to check if i still remember hw to..lolx..and we spent too much time throwing our balls up to the coconut tree to try and hit down a ball stuck on it..bt just as josephine n me predicted, we failed..haha..

great sun for sun tanning..haha..too bad gary had to work tat day..LOL..after bathing we went to the coffeeshop to have carrot cake..3 plates actuali..lolx

then i went to the bbq wit snox..haha..delicious food n drinks..i like the sotong and chicken..haha..crapped and stupid suanning..haha..they had beer which i tink was reali hard to swallow coz they smell bad..there was vodka too..at least it din smell bad..haha..bt it was reali strong..and they had it mixed wit zapper..to try dilute it..waha..fun bbq~ hahaz

went for early run this mornin..so damn lazy la..ZzZz..even while running the onli thought in my mind was to stop..haha..

played pool at paradiz and there was this bookfair of some sort..and i gt a book for 2 bucks..woohoo..lolx

afternoon went to the cathay to catch a movie..confession of pain..such a confusing movie..haha..there were some spoilers frm the start..overall it was an ok movie bah..

jade treated us to ben n jerry's b4 the movie..yummm..gt belt frm sh 4 xmas..haha..and i gave him a nail clipper..LOL..gave jade our present..

then ate dinner and indopadang to visit rap and austen..haha..and we visited danis too..his boss damn strict sia..ate until damn full mann..still gt dessert..im gonna grow fat..haha..bt the kambing soup is still veri nice..i tink tat shld be their signature dish..haha..

hoho..its 2007 already..a whole new yr of events..i wish everythin will go well..

hari raya haji yesterday and went to grandma hse and had fun wit cuzzins and all..got 'green packet' too..hahaz..ate alot of nite food and i was damn full..

met the others after tat at pasir ris..fireworks were awesome...i love the green fireworks and the red reali complemented them well..haha..it was pretty much sedated bt i guess i had alot of fun..haha..taxi was reali screwed up..marina bay was totally packed..

reached home around 4am and bathed then slept..woke up to eat breakfast..read the newspapers and lunch then slept again..

went to watch night at the museum in the evening..wit the vball peeps tat i pangseh-ed at countdwn..haaz..the movie was not bad..that rock 'dumb dumb' statue was reali cute..lol..

so cool~..i won 2 tickets to vivocity countdown..bt i tink im giving it to my sis and her bf..hahaz..coz its onli 2 tickets..

vball training today..haha vball is fun..trained wit geylang methodist..onli 2 j1 guys..tsk tsk..haha..the match after tat pretty fun too..their last hols training..wen xian gt spiked..lol and he's nw sick, was dizzy and all..

ate together then went to play arcade..haha challenged daytona..we were pretty much trying to crash each other..lol super fun..

2006 is ending soon..i tink overall its a pretty gd yr for me..and pretty enjoyable jc experience..haha..the vball trainings and competition, studying for A levels, taking the exam itself, frens, chalets, outings and learning alot of things tat i guess will be very useful in life like for example learning to tell who is a true fren..

2007 will be a totally new year swathed wit totally new experiences..it almost seems precarious to me bt at the same time im pretty excited at the prospect of having much more freedom frm my parents bt of coz, i'll hve some freedom being ceased by the NS..and i'll probably be doomed after the results are released..luckily i hve like 2 more yrs to get over it and tink abt wat i wanna do..haha..and my sis might get engaged..wooo..plus will probably meet more frenz and losing some along the way, i hope i dun lose any..

wish nxt yr will be a betta yr then this yr..
